The Hunt’s meeting minutes from October 2020 continue in a similar vein, with concerns about hunt saboteurs and interestingly the Challenge Smeekley fundraiser that they’d like to distance themselves from to avoid negative publicity, full minutes can be read here.
Further minutes from 28th January this year highlight that even with large cash injections from the HEC, the Barlow is in serious financial difficulty. Those minutes in full here.
When going back through minutes of meetings, historically, it’s interesting to see that in 2014 many years after the ban on fox hunting, the Barlow are still keen to speak out in favour of criminality. Present is “Joan” who is Joan Williams a now retired Police Superintendent, her partner Mark Davies is the chairman of the hunt, he’s a judge.
