This is “supporters club report June 2020”:

Westerby Hunt Supporters Club

Report for Hunt Committee Meeting 23.6.2020

I have been appointed chairman of the Westerby Hunt Supporters Club for the 20-21 season. Because of the Covid19 lockdown we have been unable to hold any of our planned events since mid March. The situation seems to be changing gradually, so we hope to be able to organise some social events to enjoy and to raise much needed funds later in the year.
We did hold 3 events in 2020 before lockdown. Kate Hancock held a very successful Bridge Day on January, raising £1,177. Many thanks to Kate and Geoff for their hard work and hospitality. On January 18th we held another Dinner Dance at Hothorpe Hall, which again proved popular, raising £1,579. Then, just before Coronavirus isolated us all we held a most enjoyable End of Season Supper on March 13th at Lubenham Village Hall when Colin Plumbe proposed the toast to the Westerby at the end of a most enjoyable season, which we were lucky to be able to conclude. This event raised £1,147. We had planned pub suppers and a Summer Party, all victims of social isolation. Our committee will be reconvening as soon as it is safe for us all to meet again.
